Is anyone familiar with this?

I went to a Flea Market yesterday and saw that someone who was selling had a basket with higher end eyeshadows and compacts out of the packages. I looked through it and saw MAC Sheer Coverage Foundation. I bought it because I wasnt familar with it and I tried looking up when it came out online but I cant seem to find the date.

The compact is identical to the mineralize skinfinish natural things except its a cream foundation. I dont have a camera to take any pictures. Does anyone remember this?

i have never heard of it, but i am new to MAC, so there is a possibility that it is an older foundation with a limited release? or it could be a fake....

Sheer coverage used to be part of the permanent line, but was DC'd. They were in the same containers as the Full Coverage foundation or MSF Naturals in the regular line.

Any MAC makeup that you see in palette form, but without the palette is makeup meant for testers/displays. The general public does not get these. My guess is that the seller was an employee (former or current). The fact that she has them is kind of gray area. Employees shouldn't technically have those palette inserts. Occasionally though, counters will give left over, unused palette inserts as gratis bonuses or prizes to employees for certain acheivements. The fact that the seller had several is kind of fishy though.

I have a Sheer Coverage compact (NW20) I purchased in 1999. It provided exactly what its name suggests. I used my fingers or a damp circular sponge to apply it. I liked it and used most of it; suppose I should B2M the compact.
