Is C-shock a must-have or are there lookalikes?

C-Shock is a must have in my opinion. Some of the things are already sold out or near gone at counters and stores. If you need to skip the collection for some reason, I would suggest picking up Ben Nye shadows. Ben Nye is a stage makeup brand that makes really wearable shadows. It's the only other company I have seen carry similar colors. Also, Make Up Forever makes some really bright mattes.

Well, I bought all the shadows and have been using them everyday since I got them! A few are similar to other shadows/pigments, but I got them all anyway since I LOVE color on my eyes. My favorites are Romping and Wondergrass. Fab & Flashy looks great with Firespot e/s from Moonbathe. Going Bananas isn't really all that unique, and it is not as bright as the other shadows. Looks like Gold Dusk Pigment on me, it's just a little brighter. Eyepopping looks alot like Overgrown and Bitter. I have Overgrown, and while it is similar colorwise, I much prefer the texture of Eyepopping. Wondergrass looks a tiny bit like Swimming, but is brighter, and has a better texture. Big T is probably the least unique of all of them, as MAC makes a bunch of colors that are similar. It is close to Teal pigment and the teal from the 2006 Intense Eyes palette. Bang on Blue is a great color, and fairly unique but a bit hard to work with since it has a chalky texture. HTH!

Must have.
I own tons of differnt brands and don't have any similar colors at all.
I am actually surprised that the collection isn't sold out on the website.
I guess that people are either scared by such colors (the non MAC customers) or waiting for Rushmetal and Flashtronic to come out.
And we all know that these collections are going to be pretty expensive!

Bang On Blue is a true, royal blue without much if any shimmer. If you use the right base, you can get a blue payoff . I would say the color looks like a Satin, but the texture isn't nor does it apply like a Satin. Moonflower, is a softer, teal. A more appropriate comparison would be Big T and Moonflower, and between those two, Big T is brighter, darker, and more intense.

Depends - I think you could prob. blend Accent Red and pinken it with Stars N Rockets to get a similar color. I have both, but don't have Accent Red with me, but I saw you posted a request for Romping and Endless Love in the Swatch Request Thread. I will try and get on that today.

I'm sooo in love with Big T. I've been wearing it EVERY day since I got it lol. I think it's a total must-have, especially for brown or tan skinned girls! Actually, now that I think about it, it's a must have for everybody because I saw a fair-skinned MA wearing it and it was just as flattering!!!

Everyone keeps saying this. I don't get it. When I swatched Big T the finish is COMPLETELY different than that of Teal pigment. It's like the difference between a satin and a frost. I think the finishes make them look nothing alike.
