Is it just me or....Botanical e/s?

So I tried to apply Botanical e/s today with my 219 brush and I had a hard time applying it!

So is it just me or has this happened to somebody else before?

I find that the 219 is too soft for certain textures (like Lustres)...try the edge of the 242...or better yet, get yourself to a PRO store and pickup the 211 fine pencil brush...the love of my life (as far as brushes go!!)

I don't own Botanical, but I do own some other lustres (including Love Bud so I assume they'd be pretty similar - not like older lustres vs. new lustres) and I find it applies amazingly when I use the 239 brush. It also works really well over a shadestick.

Yeah, Botanical is really pale on me. I have to pack alot on and if i don't its just like a wash of silver glitter.

I totally agree. The 239 would work great. I actually used a spongetip. But the other thing is that it needs to go over a shadestick or another shadow. It really didn't look like much when I appplied it by itself.

I tried applying it in the crease with the 219, and it didn't really work. I had to go back and redo it. I have used it with the 252 and 242 on the lid with good results. I've also used the 213, the overall color was good, but the glitter doesn't show up with this one. For lining the lower lashline, I used a disposable slant-tip swab with fix+, and loved it for a subtle liner.

uhhh, it didn't show of at all ?

in this tricky way, that you layer colour and colour and end up with nothing than an ugly amout of powder and glitter everywere in the face ?

this is what i usually have with nars e/s...

....i want botanical sooo much to like....
