I have a dilemma!!!

Like to know your opinion on this

Since I started using MAC (6 years ago) I have been recommended different shades of foundation,here goes...

First-Studio Fix in NW(cant remember the number)
Second-MUA said I had yellow undertones not red, so I was given NC45 Studio fix (did look better)
Third-Then the next MUA said NC45 was too dark and gave me NC43 (again looked better)
Fourth-Tried FAce & Body in C6 (looked great!!But couldnt use it after a while as it started to sting my face

)
Fifth-Back to NC43

But when I went to try on concealers, the MUA said I needed to use an NW because I had red undertones!!!
I do have a 'redness' to my skin as I suffer from eczema, but I do have an Asian background which I thought tends to have yellow undertones!!

So is it poss that i have changed back and forth, or was it just a difference in opinion of the MUAs????
I'm starting to think I need to go back to NW...

I'm confused

Any advice???

It really depends. Some people have to use a blend because there is no perfect match to their complexion. Some have to use one color in the winter and another in the summer because of tanning and what not. Personally, I can wear NW45 or NC50. The NC50 gives me a more natural glowy complexion. My skin tone is very golden. NW45 is more matted and neutral. So yes, it is possible to be comparable to more than one shade. You simply have to pick what looks best to you and in natural light.

Yep I can take either NC20 or an NW20 and they both look equally as good,..except in concealer,.. I usually take the NW20. So it may depend on the formulation/season/a multitude if different things. Also some people dont go by what looks the best,.. they go by what they like or are used to seeing,.. trust me had a women with rosatia swear she needed a pink undertone foundation,.. I am glad I don't sell MK anymore,.. < <insert tired sigh here> >

And yes, it is possible that the MA's might not have pegged you correctly the first time if they didnt do a stripe test.
