Is this appropriate?

Okay, I totally did something terrible to an MA at the Lancome counter; I had a nosebleed as she's applying my make-up. It got on my shirt, and on the chair at first. She was a bit freaked, thinking she did something wrong and I tried to tell her that it's just a nosebleed and I'll be fine (lasted for 20 minutes).

She offered to call an ambulence and was just really nice and not being mean or anything; she didn't ask me to leave or purchase products.

Anyways, is it innapropriate for me to ask a manager when she's working so I can do a mass purchase?

I think some MA's are paid on commission (right?) and I was going to make a mass buy while she was on shift. She didn't ask me to purchase products after what happened so I figured I could at least purchase some stuff, like $200-300, to make up for it. She works at Lancome, and sometimes MAC (I think, I have to check).

I don't think it's inappropriate at all, and I think it would be nice if you also wrote to the customer service of that store and tell them how nice the woman was to you.

I think she would really appreciate that! It's so nice of you to think of her when you could just think of how scary it was for you!!

Awwww... so very sweet! Check with her counter manager for whether she's on commission or not (while mentioning her great service) and if she is, find out when she's on - and if she's not... write a note. I've got all my thank you notes in a special desk drawer and I look at them on really bad horrible days. The notes mean a lot.

M'kay, I spoke to her counter manager at Lancome and found out she works occaisionally at Clinique and MAC. And yes, she does work off commission

I'm writing a letter to customer service now, and I already gave her a thank you note when she was helping me with my purchase yesterday.

I stopped by the mall yesterday and made my "mass purchase". I think my credit card is on fire now, lol. I haven't been to a Clinique counter in over a year so that explains my buying so many things (maybe). I found new lipsticks I like (Extreme Pink and Bamboo Pink) and the rest I've used before but was out of or it was way old.
Clinique is a really easy brand to wear, and they have such cool stuff. O_O can't...resist...

My mom still wears it and she's coming to see me next Saturday (she's in DC for work so I'm meeting her there) so I bought her Mother's Day gift. (in Italics)
