Is this MAC eyeliner real?

Hello,
Sorry I don't have a pic...
I just received a MAC eyeliner that is natural wood,with a clear
plastic cap, with a white label at the end that reads the products
name and says SAMPLE.
I have never seen this before so I was stumped. Thankyou

Without a picture it's impossible to tell. Sometimes sample products do escape into the "wild" so it could be genuine. Here's one of my samples just to give you an idea of what the label may be like;

well the eyeliner is from a good person who may not know of its true origins either. I have never seen Mac presented in a natural wooden
stick with a clear plastic cap.The white label at the end does
not read MAC,it just says the product name,color,and Sample at the bottom of the label. Its a white and black label like yours.
Hmm..=/

Yeah sorry this is late but it does look like that with a clear cap!
