i have come across this auction on eBay UK,at first i thought that the seller was taking the proverbial mick,by selling fake Mac pigments "auction said quality just like Macs"but then i saw their 2nd auction...ermmm

Lol yeah cos his/hers Mac pigments are fake..they have lots for sale and they are comparing these fakes to "Mac brand blah,blah "
Nicholle,the seller has stolen someone else's photos and hotlinked to them in their description.
The original person has discovered this and has changed the photos on their image host to rude pictures and photos of pigs to make sure no-one purchases from the person who nicked their photographs.

Wooohooo serves them right for stealing someone elses photos!!!

Maybe in retaliation for selling fake pigments, someone hacked the account and put up those pictures. wild guess.

That's a very common strategy used against hotlinkers. If you attempt to hotlink a pic (thus using the original owner's bandwidth), the images that appear are substituted for something generally very offensive. I've seen everything from porn to "aborted fetuses".

It's a bit over the top but very effective, and frankly, serves the fake seller right on this one. Karma.

and powdery ??Wtf is powdery...Seller has 1 feedback from a customer who has bought the pigments today and left feedback same day......

Sounds like a shill bid. Same person or confedrate of the seller buds and "wins" and leaves positive feedback. This is done to build a reputation or to artificially inflate interest or bids in the item to make it appear a hot item (and therefore legit) or to sell for a higher price that what it would normally go for.

This is also a prohibited activity on ebay.
