Is this your career?

I've been at the counter for over a year now...and I like it fine...but I have a degree in a totally unrelated field (and it's a useless degree, but anyway..)- so my question to you all- is this your career? Are you looking to move up with the company? How long do you see yourself staying in your position?

Well, I'm an aspiring MAC MA and I plan to work there for a good amount of time and it would be great if I could become a Senior Artist or branch out into becoming a professional, celebrity status makeup artist. But chnces are I'll end up being a doctor. *sigh*

I honestly have NO clue what I'm going to do with my life, career wise.

I went to college for 3 years and I didn't know why I was there. I've decided not to go back, but I'm looking into what opportunities there are for me to have a career doing something that I am passionate about.

I'm looking into pursuing my dream of having my own make up line.

I wouldn't be working for MAC if I didn't want a career in make up....


this industry isn't for people who don't have passion for wt they do, if you do, your work will prove it, if you don't, the work you do will let people know you arent that serious.
