Greetings MAC family...

I have been working on the MAC freelance/on-call team in my area since late August/September and have loved every minute of it. One of the stores where I spend a lot of time working on-call had an open 15hr position. I let it be known that I was interested in it, had my demo/interview yesterday and got the call last night that I'm in!!

I have had a lot of "on the job training" (as they don't give much training to freelance/on-call at ALL) and I have learned so very much. I wanted to share my good news with you all to let those who are hoping for a position with the company know that it DOES happen and to be patient and diligent in your search. I also wanted to thank all of you that contribute to these forums. I spend a lot of time here reading your posts and looking at FOTDs to get ideas, fresh inspiration, and information. Your openess and ability to share what you know is wonderful and greatly appreciated. I only wish I could share that WONDERFUL MAC discount with each and every one of you... LOL

Congratulations! Are you allowed to say what store/counter you will be working at? I live in Southern California but have friends in Rochester Hills. We go to a LOT of malls when I visit. ha ha.
