It's Eid tomorrow!! Eid Mubarak!!

It is the Muslim festival of Eid tomorrow, we have been fasting for 30 days and yesterday we found out that Eid is on Thursday (it depends on the sighting of the moon). Today we broke our last fast and we are celebrating Eid with lots of food, family and new clothes

oh man, we have one more day of fasting...

basically you cant eat or drink anything or have sex while the sun is up. after sundown its okay. rough, but you gotta do what you gotta do right. for the festival of eid we get really dressed up so that part is fun 8)

Oh I had a teacher who did that last year. All he did was complain how hungry he was. I would just eat all I could while the sun was up.

We fast from sunrise to sunset! Lol at the thought of not eating at all for 30 days. It's not that tough and you learn patience, willpower, how to be strong and you think of the poor and how they go through much worse. It's only 30 days and you get to eat loads after sunset and Eid is full of yummy food piled high for everyone and you get to wear beautifull clothes and get money gifts!

lol, my husband is so bad...he doesn't fast and hasn't fasted the last two years (since i've known him). we're not in a muslim area and i'm not muslim so it must be harder for him.
