Jazzy makeup? Help!!

I'm planning on throwing a jazzy esque party this friday.

Any makeup looks that come to mind the moment you hear the word "Jazz Music?"

I think of the 40's red classic look but a friend of mine thinks of smokey eye looks.

Anyway I really need a good makeup look. Any recommendations?

Also any recommendations on what to wear to this jazzy party will be WONDERFULLY appreciated!

Jazz reminds me of flappers (but this may be off by 2 decades) you could always do flapper dresses.. the whole chicago thing
