Job Interview Help!

It depends on where you are trying to work, but I shouldn't think confirming the time with them would be a problem (it might even be a good thing, because it shows you are willing to ask questions).

If you are too afraid to call, then I would arrive at the earlier time.

Call them to let them know you're confirming your interview on Friday at 10 AM with xx, they will say yes it's confirmed, or no I have it in my books as 11 am. Then you've got your answer.

I would just straight up call and ask, I don't think it would be something a potential employer would hold against you?

This is an excellent way of doing it (something I have done as well). No HR person would ever hate someone doing that ^_^.
