oh I previously posted that I wasn't going to die my hair anymore and that I was going to let it ll grow back to my natural color, well damn it I lied

, I just got so bored of my hair being black, I mean black looks good on me but I just got so bored so I went to my hairdresser and had her bleach it out. My hair went from black to dark red to a very copper orange and we toned it to a light golden brown. I still wasn't satisfied all the way. So I went to the beauty supply and bought a deep dark burgundy red, then I changed my mind about that. so the next day I exchanged it for a light red. Later that day I died it the light red and it barley took the colro, my hair is so very porous from bleaching, then yesterday I went back and bought a black cherry looking color, the color looked promosing when it was processing, bet when I washed it out it was still light, and not as dark as I wanted ot to be. I am using demi permanent so that my hair doesn't get damaged more then it is. But I don't know if I should even bother with trying to use a permanent, maybe it will not hold the color either. I think I have to wait two weeks let my hair rest a little then color t Chocolate Cherry by Feria, that's my favorite dark red to color. I think it will be fine then.

Dying hair is fun! But yeah, give your hair a break for a while and get it back to a decent condition before processing more colours over it...

chocolate cherry sound sweet...and makes me hungry

Awww, hahaha! That is a cute and funny story. Honeslty, we're never happy with what we have naturally, so don't worry about it. Girls that are completely all-natural-french-hippie style are gross anyway, so having a faux haircolor is no big deal, mamma.

I'd like to see you in a deep cranberry red color for sure. It'd look really striking with your style. I wish we could see pictures of your haircolor in all it's recent phases

allright I made up my mind

okay so last night I did two test strands on my hair and finally got the results I wanted. I used Loreal Feria Haircolour in Midnight Ruby it's a light Auburn black. So I would say it's the color of cherry cola in a glass of ice, almost black yet with a hint of black cherry. My mom use to dye here hair with the same color and I use to call her " Cherry cola head ", it looked real pretty on her too. Well I am finally satisfied and now I know what color to use in two to four weeks when I do a touch up. and the great thing is that I didn't get any damage to my hair.
