Hello there. Again. I just started getting into Nars recently and would love some recs to get things going. I do already have Orgasm blush which I love and the Underworld duo and I'm eyeing Mediteranee. I'm about NC30ish with yellow undertones and I have dark brown hair and green eyes. Any suggestions would be appreciated as well as anything that maybe isn't that great I should watch out for. I've heard that some people have had issues with the Orgasm blush getting this weird film on top of it so I'm hoping I don't have to deal with that.
Thanks a bunch ladies and as always,

I would like to suggest Cordura, Jolie Poupee, Iceland, Caravaggio, Paris, Brumes, Alhambra and Kalahari eyeshadow duos.

Wow, that's quite a list! I saw some swatches and I liked all of those if I remember correctly. I also saw something about a d/c'd cream duo called Pink Panther that really intrigues me. Thanks!

I see what you mean already b/c as I look at swatches and check the website, there are WAY too many I want. Granted, that doesn't mean they'll all look fab on me but I can sure try!!

If you're just starting check out the NARS website, they have new palettes now! Usually they don't, this is a good way to get into the brand without spending alot. I recommend the Modern Love palette for neutrals and the 9970? for more adventurous colors

FYI Mediterranee is an amazing duo

I bought Mediteranee today and I can't wait to use it. I swatched a few that were similar like Scorching Sun but I'm glad I got Mediteranee. Hopefully I can make it work. I've never really done oranges before but I couldn't help but be mesmerized by how pretty it is!

Dolce Vita...I'm in love with that lipgloss. I'm usually a hot pink (Show Orchid!!!) lip girl, but this color is amazing. Even my mother loves it...she stole it from me. LOL

I'm NC 30 and if you haven't yet, you should give Luster blush a try, it's a beautiful apricot colour.

I've bought NARS Orgasm for years and years, and never had a problem with film on the top, even when I stop using it for a while and then go back to it.

Lately I've been using drugstore blushes and today I went back to Orgasm on a whim ... oh boy, what I've been missing! The color payoff, the silky texture, the staying power - it's all worth the steep price.

I bought Cordura last weekend and it is the BEST set of browns I've ever put on my eyes! It wasn't too reddish and the colors brought out my green eyes. I did the lighter brown all over my lid and blended it out with my highlight color and used the darker brown for liner and got several compliments b/c it was simple but flattering and dramatic at the same time. Thanks so much for the recs! I want to get Iceland next but haven't seen that one at Sephora so I guess I'll have to order it from NARS's site.

If you wear greens, blues or purple, Iceland can transform your eyeshadows. Both sides look white, but when light hits your eye at a certain angle...it gives off a beautiful purple or green sheen. I haven't really seen anything like this duo around.

I pretty much wear Cordura everytime I want a neutral brown look. Definitely never boring and pretty easy to work with.

If you could find a NARS counter, I strongly suggest going to one and getting a NARS trained artist to help you make the eyeshadows work. I always get really good ideas from them.

I don't think I have a NARS counter anywhere around but I'll check into it b/c that's a great idea. I absolutely love all the ones I've gotten so far and for the ones they don't carry at Sephora, I'd like to see them in person to get a better idea of what they look like. Thanks so much for your help!
