if you're just starting out you should definitely consider the coastal scents 88 palette. i mean you get 88 colors for the price of 1 1/2 mac eyeshadows. if you get this first you have all the colors you need and then you can collect mac.
you definitely don't have to do this but it's just something fun to have in the beginning
