Keeping Mac Pro Pallettes Clean

A question for all of you:

How do you keep your 15 and 4 pan eyeshadow palettes as well as your 6 pan blush palettes clean? I am finding that the powders get all over and the palettes start to look grungy.

Any suggestions?

Keep the inserts for your quads - keeps those clean. I just find that the dust is inevitable, so I organize by color and whether they're lux, matte, etc.

I use a Q-Tip. Just lightly wet the tip and clean the extra residue from you eyeshadows or blush pallettes, I do this every time I finish using my shadows. If you use your shadows on a daily basis, once a month take out the shadows, wet a tissue with some seabreeze and sanitize your pallette and let your pallette air dry, once that's done replace your colors.

I now clean mine w/those tiny Almay makeup remover pads (they are sold in a screw top container) or w/the Clinique Brush spray & cotton.

Whatever you do, don't put dunk your re-fillable palettes in a tub of water; the paint chips off.

Try a baby nasal aspirator. It can be found in the baby aisle at your local drug store. I have found this to be the best cleaner. It's about a $1.49 here in Canada.

I would show a picture but my camera's batteries are dead.
