Kids growing up too soon revisited...

Saw this article in the news today and had to laugh...

Best part was the fact that at the middle school dance (7th and 8th grade) they were playing, "Smack that" rofl... And the chaperone's were shocked to see the kids freaking. Aren't the adults who are sponsoring these dances censoring the music avail to be played? Then again, it's all over the radio so it's not like music reserved only for adults.

No offense... But I can't really blame the kids for freaking on the dancefloor when they are playing another song by Akon and Mr. Shady about their fav topic, Strippers.

And realistically... Is this really something new? lol... I remember grinding on guys back when I was this age... And getting in trouble with the teachers. Times really haven't changed all that much.

Oh we got in trouble =P It wasn't allowed back then eigther heh... Plenty of time the lights got turned on, or couples were pulled apart. Heh..

Hip hop just wasn't as mainstream back then, so while it still happened, it wasn't as common.

Heh...

Any of you remember the song by Andrew Dice Clay that came out in 2000? Face down, ass up... lol... While not a mainstream radio song, it was in all the clubs...

My husband DJ'd the Halloween dance at my son's elementary school...he spent almost 2 weeks trying to come up with a "clean" playlist that was appropriate for a school dance, that was popular with the kids and that would fill 3 hours of party time. He managed to make up a decent playlist, but he was shocked when the little kids came up and asked for all kinds of raunchy crap (like Akon, etc)....what I want to know is do their parents know that they're listening to that stuff???

I listen to KIIS-FM and they play all sorts of stuff, basically the trendy popular stuff... Akon, No Doubt, Pussycat Dolls, etc...

It's avail to any age group with a radio... I always laugh when Moms call in who are driving their kids to school and thing like Akon - I wanna Fuck... er Love you were on right before... This is at like 8am lol... And in that song Snoop's lyrics include references to strippers and how wet their pussies are heh...
