NW45 here....
I had posted a review of her baked products during the time we had trouble with the forum. My post somehow disappeared.
I made my purchases from QVC -- I've tried the balance and brighten and bronze and brighten. Balance and brighten looked like I had applied white chalk. Bronze and brighten is okay but did not look good on me. The coverage was adequate, but sometimes when I looked in the mirror after having it on for several hours, it looked like clay -- if that makes sense. In my opinion her products do not complement dark African-American skintones. During her presentations on QVC she uses only lighter-skinned A-A models. Her products lack the undertones to complement the darker-skinned beauties.
Unfortunately, I tried her blush 'n brighten colors. Same thing, they lack the undertones to complement darker-skin tones. Look ashy on me.
A side-bar here -- During her QVC presentations several A-A women call in to the shows asking if her products would work on "pecan" or darker colored women. She always stop short of saying they will and remind the callers of the QVC 30-day return policy. Hint - she won't recommend her baked products to darker-skinned women.
Also, Ebonyannette has an FOTD wearing bronze and brighten. Do a search on Laura Geller and you'll quickly find it and her comments on the product.

P.S. I love, love, love her set-it-and-stay products: Matte Maker Invisible Oil BlottingPowder; Lip Sealer (sets my lipstick/lipglass so that I don’t have to use lip pencils – my lips have a natural dark line and I’ve always hated lining them w/lip pencils – but w/this product I don’t have to line my lips anymore!); eye-liner stay – I use the 219 brush to apply eye-shadow as an under-eye liner and set it w/this product. No fading or runs all day long! Also, I love watching her QVC shows because she’s funny, is a very good make-up artist who has the gift of gab and excellent instructional skills. Have learned some good make-up tricks from her shows.
P.s.s. I last used the balance, bronze and blush brighten products in Feb 2006. I kept the bronze and brighten compact using it as a setting powder for my under-eye concealer. Sent the other stuff back.
