I am so in love with Laura Mercier products. MAC's been disappointing me lately, and I've been focusing my attention on LM.

I love:

Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free
Oil Free Foundation
Foundation Powder (Quick and easy, coverage can be sheer or full depending on the application)

Undercover (Contains both Secret Camouflage and Secret Concealer)

StickGloss Lipstick (I have Black Orchid and Brown Sugar, both gorgeous colors, pigmented, but sheer and moisturizing)

Eye Basics (Eye primer, packaged in a tube with a doefoot applicator. I've been a diehard MAC paints fan for 5 years, and I think i may like LM's eye paints a bit better. The shades are very natural and sheer.)

I love her stuff - her eyeshadows are fabulous - great texture and color payoff and are really easy to blend. I also adore her stickglosses - sheer yet pigmented lipsticks/glosses - really moisturizing and gorgeous!

her brushes are amazingly soft and they blend really well.

i don't know anything about her color line, but supposedly she is the skin coverage expert, so her foundation/etc. are probably awesome

I only own the one Mineral Eye Powder and the Foundation Powder, which I LOVE!

After reading this post I will try a few of the things some of you mentioned.

The Oil Free Foundation is a must have. If it is good enough to make Catherine Zeta Jones look flawless on film, it is good enough for me : ) I am a MAC addict, but I keep on coming back to Laura Mercier for certain items like this.

Laura Mercier is having a Face to Face event next Friday at my local Macy's. i checked their site and it said to stop by. can i just stop by the counter or do i have to make an appointment?

The Macy's near me (Herald Square) doesn't have a counter.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I bet it would fine if you dropped by, but if you wanted a makeover or personal attention from an MA, you might need an appointment. Probably depends on how big the event is or if a national artist will be there. Best thing to do is just call the LM counter at your Macy's and ask about the event. Sounds like fun!

a international artist will be there but the Laura Mercier site said to just stop by. maybe i'll just stop by the counter and ask.

I like her Shimmer Blocs and Illuminating Powders. I especially love the Shimmer Bloc in Pink.
