Lip Brush Cleaning?

I just bought a MAC 306 lip brush, and am wondering:
Since I favor bold lipstick colors, I think that I probably need to clean my brush thoroughly when I go from, say, a red like "Russian Red" to a pink like "Impassioned."
I don't have any MAC brush cleanser on hand right now.
What will work in the meantime?

just try wiping it off in between use with an unscented baby wipe (they're gentle + kleenex would leave residue) and then sanitize with a gentle shampoo...anything for color-treated hair or even baby shampoo would work

Thanks! Depending on how completely I can clean my brush, I may actually buy another brush, and designate it "For Reds Only."

I use a drop of MAC Cleanse Off oil to clean lip brushes...any facial oil would take the lipstick off...after that, just wipe it with a tissue...
