Lip Brush Technique?

I like my new MAC 306 lip brush, but since I have full lips, the brush is considerably narrower than my lips.
This causes the color to look a little thin and streaky when I'm using the brush to fill in, especially on my lower lip.
How can I achieve a smoother, more opaque look?

While we're on the subject, does anyone know of a MAC lipstick that is very bright (even near-neon is fine) pink?
Excluding "Impassioned", "Girl About Town", and "Fashionably Fuchsia," since I already have those. I'm looking for an excuse to try something new.

I say just apply it straight frm the tube if you want an opaque look

I actually prefer to apply straight from the tube, BUT this particular lipstick succumbed to the 106-degree heat, and meeeelllted.
It has since re-hardened, but in a very strange collapsed shape.

Pink Nouveau is a hot hot pink! Also check out Mauvellous.

As for the lip brush thing, just apply a layer, blot, and re-apply until you have the desired opacity. Also, it will be easier to define the edges if you use a lip pencil with the lipstick. Check out MAC's Magenta or Beet to go with the lipsticks you listed.
