Lip liner for use with Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella

I recently bought Cruella but i can't wear any lipstick that isn't nude without a liner. It's also the first red lipstick I've ever bought so i don't own a liner that would be suitable to use with it.

So i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

Within NARS: Velvet Lip Liner in Nihiwatu. Outside NARS: MAC Lip Pencil in Redd or Brick, Prestige Waterproof in True Red, NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Hot Red or Plush Red. There are loads of red lip liners out there.

I wore Cruella yesterday and honestly u don't need a liner since it's a matte finish and a nice size pencil and trust me I'm no expert at applying lipstick... I used it to line and define and then fill in and it was beautiful
