try to get one with no frost. I like to put the clear lipglass on first and let it sit for about 5 minutes and them put on a lg with no sparkle or glitter- I find that they are easier to apply.

it makes it worse when I smudge lips together - perhaps Im using too much will try with less. The one Im trying is underage so it doesnt have a frost

i haven't used l/g for the longest time since i didn't like the stickiness. but lately, i've started again and i like to put my l/s first then i just dab the l/g wand a couple of times at the lower lip then i smudge both lips together. to make the l/g uniform, i pat my pinkie all over my lips till i get the layer i like.

you might want to try a lip brush as well, isntead of the doe foot applicatour. i know alot of people hate the doe foots because they're difficult sometimes. usually, after i put lipglass on, i lick my lips to smooth it out and get it looksing more sheer, this also helps the top and bottom lip from sitcking together and getting that gross, funny little sticky line

Try just putting a litte bit in the middle of your bottom lip and on the top. see if that helps dimish the look of it being streaky. BTW- If you can find a color that you like in Lip Varnishes... they're awesome! (too bad they're not permanent). but they have GREAT color payoff like the glasses do, and they're thick.. but I swear they stay on longer. they're not as "goopy" as the lipglasses are. Try a lip varnish!

Yes it only takes a little bit, dont coat your lips with it.
I put on Chapstick first too. Then I put the Lipglass on one lip only (the bottom one, press your lips together then add a very little bit to the top lip if it needs it but thats it.
I looooove lipglass you'll get the hang of it.

i dont like to push my lips together after applying it because of the texture. its best to use the applicator to slowly apply an even layer on the top and bottom lips and just leave it as is. smushing it together after makes it uneven.

prep your lips with prep and prime lip, or chapstick, for a cheaper alternative. wait a couple minutes while that sinks in. i like lining my lips next, with a relatively subtle lip color, such as whirl or spice. apply lipglass either alone, or over lipstick, but with a lip brush. i find brushes give you a more controlled and even application. finish by lightly pressing your lips together, but don't rub back and forth. it spreads the gloss, and can end up looking messy.
