Lipstick advice - share the love!

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I wondered if I could call on you expert ladies for help!

I've got twelve empties sitting at home and I need some Back 2 Mac help. I'm UK based so that means I can only get lipsticks...but that's OK, I love lipsticks!

I am NC20/NW20 (a true neutral) with very dark hair and dark brown eyes. See Sheer is my all time fave but I also love bright and crazy colours. I am not a big gloss fan but I do like lustres. I love mattes too! The only thing I really hate is frosts. I live quite close to a pro store so pro colours are no problem.

So has anyone got any suggestions on what Mac lipsticks I should get next?

I was thinking of Ravishing or Lady Danger...but maybe these are too similar to things I already have. Maybe another nude? Or a different finish? Girl About Town? Who knows?

i think that cross wires is a nice lipstick. it's a pinky coral and because it's cremesheen formula it's very opaque and feels nice on the lips.

i also love ruby woo as a red. it's matte so can be a little drying but if you use a clear or red gloss over it, it looks amazing!

Second Ruby Woo! I fully intended to buy Russian Red until the SA showed me and had me try Ruby Woo. Such a great red shade. I think everyone needs it! Do you like light colors? Ones I find myself reaching for most are: Creme D'Nude, Creme Cup, Bare, Funshine, and Intimidate.

Girl About Town is a must! I'm quite neutral too and I never feel prettier than when I'm wearing GAT. I also like Creme cup, Snob, Lustering, Pink Nouveau and Up the Amp.

My suggestion : For pinks, Snob, Lustering, Pink Plaid. If you want a red one, I'd suggest Viva Glam I and for nude, my fave is Blankety !!

Yay, thanks everyone. Definitely leaning towards Girl About Town and Creme de Nude, but will check out all your other recommendations too!

You should definitely checkout the cremesheen formula lipsticks. I would suggest Shygirl....a gorgeous peachy shade. Will look pretty on your skintone. Also...crosswires, creme d nude, creme cup, ravishing and fanfare.
