Lipstick/gloss recs please :)

[Purity]

Specktra users entipy and MACATTAK made me want some lip colour really bad with their lovely comments in my FOTD

But as I own like, one lipstick and two glosses (and one of them are clear) I need some recs for lipstick, gloss and lipliner shades. I'm probably going to buy MAC russian red l/s and cherry l/l, what other colours do you think would suit me?

From that picture it looks like you have a cool complexion, so something like Girl About Town (hot pink) or something purplish would be really pretty. I haven't tried any of MAC's purples so I can't recommend any specific shades for that one. There are a bunch of purplish colours coming out in the Fafi collection that I think would be pretty on you. The two you mentioned would also look great, especially Russian Red

lipglass wise prrr and nymphette and underage would be nice.

You're about the same coloring as me, and I LOVE Pink Poodle lipglass. I'm kind of scared to try a bright pink lipstick, so if it makes you nervous, you could try out Pink Poodle first. I think it would look gorgeous on you!

I also really like Sandy B lipstick. I have never seen someone look bad wearing it. It was actually the first lipstick I ever bought!

*~*For looks with bolder eyes: Prrr, Nymphette, Oyster Girl, Underage, Florabundance, and C-Thru lipglasses would all look amazing...
For looks with neutral eyes: Pink Poodle, Russian Red, Cultured, and Dreamy lipglasses would also look nice...

*Non Mac recs; neutral colors: Nars Turkish Delight, Striptease, Giza, Chihuahua, Orgasm, and Striptease lip glosses...bolder glosses Nars Gothika, Dolce Vita, Bad Education, and Frisky Summer are great. Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect has some really great color choices too, so I would check those out as well.

Wow, thanks for all the responses! I will definitely check some of these out!

Oh, and a question abut lip liners: Do you need one for each lipstick, or just for the brighter shades (like russian red, I believe that would bleed from my lips)? Or can you use a neutral coloured lipliner in the same shade as your own lips with most lipsticks?

i use dervish by mac a mauvy pink and i really only need this one for all my pink and nudes, i have cherry for my red lippies xx
