Hi gals! I really need some advice, usually i only wear L/g on my lips or tinted lip conditioner. I have a real trouble with lipstick

I use a primer but the lipstick just seems to bleed into any lines and look awful, also I find it NEVER stays put as it is, I see alot of you on here who wear L/G over lipstick but if i did that it would just move in a matter a of seconds on me and look patchy..

Any ideas of what im doing wrong? It feels the only thing i can't seem to get right!

It might be the primer that you're using...do you let it dry completely before you put on the lipstick? I use MAC Prep + Prime Lip and I need to wait about thirty seconds for it to soak in before I use lipstick.

If that doesn't work, Benefit makes a product that fills in the lines of your lips (Prep + Prime doesn't do this for me...I don't know if it's supposed to or not) and I believe it's called DeGroovie. That may help with the lipstick sinking into lines.

Other than that, I'm not sure...I'm sure others on here may be able to help better, so good luck! Hope this helps you some

I really like Smashbox's primer. On one end there's a primer for lips and on the other side there is a primer for lids. It really works well. Keeps it in place and makes it long-wearing.

You could try using a reverse lipliner (Duwop has one). It's basically a clear lipliner that the lipstick will adhere to and it should prevent the bleeding.
