Lipsticks/Lipglass

I was wondering if someone could help me with finding the best lipstick/gloss for my skin tone. I have an olive skin tone with black hair and dark brown eyes. I seem to either get lipstick that is too dark or too light. I was wondering if someone could tell me either the colours I should be looking for or recommend me to a product. Any help is much appreciated.

try MAC Hug Me or Twig l/s. Both of those are beautiful, universally flattering colors. HTH.

viva glam v suits almost all skin types, ive fallen in love with mine all over again!

i'd suggest taking a look at the viva glam products and trying them on in the store/counter if possible. they have one for pretty much every skintone and colour combination.

I'd recommend a coral-y colour - corals and greens look best on olive tones!

I'd highly recommend the following (I have similar features):

Neutral pink:
Hug me l/s with Viva glam VI l/g with subculture l/l

Neutral peachy beige:
Underplay l/s with Love nectar l/g with creme sherry c/l

Rosy-pink:
Cosmo l/s with Lust l/g with cedar l/l

Soft coral:
See sheer l/s with Big Kiss p/g with creme sherry c/l

Bright coral:
Vegas volt l/s with moonbathe l/g with creme sherry c/l
Eager l/s with lychee luxe l/g with creme sherry c/l

Sheer Reds:
Lady bug with clear l/g with redd l/l

If you're open to deeper, richer reds (not sheer):
Dubonnet l/s with dab of russian red l/g (to brighten) and auburn l/l

Can anyone tell me what c/l means? Also are all the above Mac products? or are they a mix of different products? Sorry, I am new to make up and I wasn't exactly sure.

c/l = cremestick liner (those retractable ones)

All the products that I listed in the lippie combos are indeed all MAC
