I just bought my first liquid last liner last week and it is reeeallly thick. Is it supposed to be this thick? Also, the bristles of the brush are really poky

I can't use that brush very well...it's too uhm, floppy. I dab it on the back of my hand and use a 266. I've never experienced a thick one, you might have gotten a bad batch oe something.

My own Point Black, as well as most of the testers at the counter I work all have quite a thick formula. I have not experienced a "pokey" brush, but what I do is carefully wipe the brush along the inner rim to get off excess, and sometimes wipe it off a little on the back of my hand so there's less product on the brush (with Cleanse Off Oil close to get it off my hand later). I have trouble with my Point Black because when I apply it I don't feel the brush. Like it's so smooth or something while I'm applying it I barely feel it if that makes any sense. I do like the Liquidlasts, but I do prefer Rimmel Professional Liquid Eyeliner.

Hope that helps!

All of my liquid last liners seem to be thick also :[
I think they are just supposed to be like that.
after using it a couple of times, you might get used to the formula.

It's not supposed to be super thick.. if you can feel the edges of the bottle with your brush and they are goopy, take it back to your MAC counter for a new one.. but if it's just thicker then regular liquid liner.. then it is very normal.

The brush is not the best at all.. I always put some of my hand or another surface and then apply with my 209 brush most of the time. It's not an easy product to get right, but play with it.. with another brush, and you'll get it
