I'm sorry, ladies. I think I post too often with not very impressive pictures.

Anyway, tomorrow, i have a really lame dance at my school that I have to go to so I was thinking of going with this look:

(Please be aware that my hair is gross/pulled back, I have no blush, no mascara, and my eyebrows were filled in hastily. So I am most definitely not looking my best. What do you guys think of the eye make up though?)

used:
eyes (all mac)- sweet sage [base], sumptuous olive, contrast, steamy
and almay cream color thingy as highlighter, sorry i'm too lazy to go look up the name right now

yes. and blend the color upwards more, because when you close your eyes your m/u disappears. My sis in law is filipino so she's got the same problem with her eye make up, and I have like...no crease in my eyelid at all.

BTW How do you like sumptuous olive? I couldn't decide between that one and greensmoke.

ooh i see what you mean. thanks! I know. it sucks to have the colors disappear. =/ I shy away from applying the eyeshadow all the way to the top because i feel like i'd look like a clown.

but yea. SUMPTUOUS OLIVE IS MY FAVORITE MAC EYESHADOW (so far. well who am i to say that? I'm so new to mac and only own about 8 mac eyeshadows). sometimes when I don't feel like wearing a lot of colors on my eyes, i just add a tiny bit of sumptuous olive to my lids, put on mascara and i'm good to go. I don't know how it shows up on other people, but the color really pops and brightens my eyes. i HIGHLY recommend it.

i think i need to get both sumptuous olive and greensmoke, because I can't choose.

Don't be afraid to bring up the color. Those colors aren't extremely bright so it wouldn't look horrible. It would just make them more obvious and draw positive attention to your lovely eyes

I hate when my sister picks on me and says "you missed your eyelid" cuz if I stuck to my actual eyelid, the colors wouldn't show up. And I have not spent over 800 dollars on make up in less than a year for NOTHING lol

Have fun at your dance!! I think the colors are excellent! Just remember to blend up a bit and it should be perfect!

I love looking at everyone's pics, and sometimes the simple looks are the best ones! That said, I think these greens look so pretty on you! You did a great job, and as MAC Pixie said, don't be afraid to bring up the color! (My eyes are so hooded that I look like I have no crease at all! I have to bring up the color or I have no color lol!) Seriously, though, you're really pretty and your lips look hot! Bet you'll be doing alot of dancing girlie!
