Hey guys I went on sunday to the make up trade show at alexander palace and got some pics to share
I haven't been before so I didn't know what to expect. It cost £38 for a ticket. I'll def. go next year but I wish I'd watched the demo at 1 with Caroline Donnally and Pablo (senior artists). I thought there would be a lot more to be honest. The mac pro stand was rocking the show and the body painting was good to look at. There were a lot of cheapo brushes but I surcomed to buying one! (EEEKK) My favorite was the really eccentric face painting! (see first picture)
It really stood out that mac are the professional brand there and the buzz around the counter was obvious. I have never tried make up forever but here so much about it all the time so I was a little disappointed that there stand was so small!
There was also another brand that caught my attention from Paris called "maquillage paris berlin professonnel" (Paris Berlin : maquillage professionnel) and I thought there no. 109 and 115 false lashes were beautiful!
Lots of stargazer lahes there as well but you can get those from new look so i wasn't blown away. Kroyalan and Ben Ny too!
Overall i'd give it 8 and a half out of 10
Will def. go next year!!
And take more money with me this time!
If your into make up a lot and want to be inspired its definitly worth going to! I'm sure bumped shoulders with a few specktrets but I didn't recognize any1!
