Long time no post: went a bit crazy with the yellow and purple

Hello everyone, so it's been over a year I think, since I last posted a look. To be honest, I've been wearing simple, boring looks every day that don't really merit making it on here to the FOTDs! But I have very much missed make-up, and I've missed coming on here and gaining inspiration from everybody's work! But after having recently broken my foot, and so being effectively housebound, I've been distracting myself with make-up!

The other day, whilst attempting to avoid revision for my upcoming exams, I went a little crazy with the make-up. It's nothing that could be considered 'technically' skillful, more just me colouring in my face.

There was a stage where it looked really cool and tropical, but I went too far and kind of ruined it. BUT if you stop while it still looks nice, you don't tend to learn much!

So, here it is!

USED

Chrome Yellow e/s, on eyes, cheeks and forehead
Golden Yellow pigment on cheeks
Indian Ink e/s on cheeks as a contour, and on eyes
A bright pink powder blusher from mac also on the cheeks, but the name has rubbed off, and I can't remember it.

Bobbi Brown moisture rich foundation in Alabaster
Bobbi Brown touch up stick in Alabaster
Illamasqua cream pigment in bedaub (to take away redness from my blemishes)

Frostlight fluidline for the squiggles on my face
Magenta lipliner
Illamasqua's Navy lipstick (again, the name has rubbed off)
Illamasqua's pigment in Android on the lips
Illamasqua's brow cake in Thunder
Clinique High definition mascara

Hope you like it! As I said, I know it's nothing brilliant, but it's bright and weird looking, so I quite like it!

You blend so well! Wish I was this creative... [sigh]. The lip colour is fantastic!

Thanks everyone!

The lips are my favourite bit, the navy lipstick from Illamasqua is just so beautiful, I kind of wish I could rock it just going to the shops or whatever, but I'm not sure I could! It would look a bit strange!
