I thought I'd try a purple eye today. I don't often do monochomatic so this is unusual for me. I'd love some constructive criticism or ideas for making it better if you have some. Feel free to lay it on me.

I don't feel like I'm working well with the Kevyn Aucoin, but I guess that will come with practice.

Jewel Blue lining center of lower lid
Fade at inner corner and down to lower lash line
Motif for highliight
Purple Dash Technakohl liner rimming entire eye
DazzleLash in Black

Lip:
Liner in Plum Royal
Viva Glam 5 over entire lip
Snowgirl gloss in center of upper and lower lip

Your EYES in the last (and every) photo, omg! The colour of them is gorgeous!

That's my Canon 5D Mark II. I'm a pro photog so I have good schtuff, but my DD took those pics. I can't ever seem to get decent shots of myself. Silly camera is too heavy to hold steady out from my face. LOL

And thanks girls for the sweet comments. But Tahti, I think our eyes are about the same color! LOL I am happy with my eyes, they're my favorite feature. Now if I could get all skinny I'd be happy as a clam!

beautiful! If I had to pick something to do it I would put a pop more color on the apples of your cheeks, you have a great shaped face!

You're time will come. I started with a point and shoot and worked my way into this one. I love it so much. But I gotta tell you that carrying around such an expensive camera is sometimes a drag. You're always worrying someone is gonna rip it off. REally, you can take great photos with lesser cameras. It's the eye that counts! Keep shooting.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I did go easy on the blush. With such a bright eye I thought I should balance it that way, but looking at the pics I could have gone bolder with the cheek.

LOL, I have a 17 year old daughter who loves to do her makeup and spends at least an hour and a half getting ready every day. Recently, I told her that she loves for people to look at her. She adamantly said, "NO, I DON'T!" I just had to tell her I know it's true because I'm the same way. LOL
