L'Oreal HIP Sassy Duo

Ok so I got suckered. I found the whole line at Target.
The l/s, l/g, blush, e/s, foundation & powder.
I was with my brother so I didn't have time to test everything just the e/s.
I was semi-impressed so I picked up the Sassy Duo. Only because the one side looked like a daker more pigmented Coco pigment. I was sort of right. The color is along the same family as Coco however Coco is much lighter. I will swatch the two later.
As for the other color the Teal is very pretty but the only for me to get the actually pigment to pick up was to use the sponge applicator. It just didn't work right when I used a brush.
So my over all take at first was these pretty nice. Good pigment almost too easy to blend.
Now....They wear off too fast even with my HG base. MAC paints. Paints work like eye cement for me so I was surprised that after just 2 hours of shopping to see the HIP had faded

I am probably going to be in the minority on my opinion on these but I have been so babied by MAC and Dior that I am very, VERY picky about my e/s.

well here is the FOTD sorry about the Open eye pic lookin' odd when resized it, it looked ok but now it looks strange..Oh well...
If you you right click on the image and click view image you can see it a bit bigger.
TO see Pic Please PM me. I removed it.
For some reason in the full face pic my eyes came out lookin' extra green like I am stoned or something but I swear I am not!!!!

Here is a pic of the Sassy duo

I didn't have a problem picking up the color at all... Quite the opposite, I did a huge eye look with this same duo the other day and my pot doesn't look used at all! Maybe it is just the one you picked up? What brush were you trying to use?

I tried several brushes but my MAC 239 ALWAYS picks up the color and sadly this time it just didn't apply it like I wanted. When I applied the teal with the sponge applicator it did fine.
The teal color was the color was my problem color. The taupe color did fine.

It's probably better for my bank account that I don't really like the HIP very much.

Which Duo is your fave?

I think I am just a spoiled brat when it comes to e/s.
Plus, to be honest with you the duo wore a bit like some MAC pigments do one me. They look great once I apply them but after a few hours it's crapsville! Not all pigments do that on me but some do.
I started putting a sealant over them. I use Pixi's eye sealant. I just tap a brush that is damp with the Pixi sealant and it works great.
I should probably try that with the Sassy Duo because I do love the colors.

so far saucy is my fave. its the most pigmented and shows up so good on my skin. sassy comes in second. the other ones, i like but are like macs satin finishes. i prefer frost or velvet finishes. i want to really figure out how to depott all of them so they are in a bin together. i want to mix and match and having the some what bulky pots all over my desk, drives me nuts. i still got 4 to open and use

L'Oreal HIP Sassy

It looks great on you. I have that one but have not worn it yet.

I love the L'Oreal HIP eye shadows. The Lively & Foxy duos are great colors for me to wear to work. I have worn them several times a week since I purchased them. On me they last just as long as the ones by MAC. No e/s, including those by MAC last all day on me.

Today I am wearing MAC Steep (allover lid), MAC Flirty Number on the crease, L'Oreal HIP Foxy on the lower part of my eyelid and Max Factor Nude Scene under my brow and less than 5 hours after I applied, everything is faded. I think its because today its raining and very foggy here in NY, I wore the same combo last week and it lasted a good 8-10 hours.
