I absolutely love Revlon's SL l/s and l/g! They have so many colors to choose from, and the l/s have no scent, which is fantastic to me. The glosses are better than some of my higher end glosses.
L'oreal has a few l/s that I love (Bronze Coin, Sandstone), and despite my aversion to tube glosses, I adore their HIP l/g in Pixie. Aside from those items, not much more calls to me from their regular line. It's their LE items that get me every time LOL (Front Page Peach blush, their new LE summer bronze e/s quads, etc)!

STAY AWAY from Revlon eyeshadows!!! They are sooo bad! Complete junk, no lasting power.
I love L'Oreal mascaras and I have a few of their lip products too. Revlon lipsticks bleed outside the lip really badly....plus they taste bad. I like Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipgloss though although the colour palette is very mediocre.
Overall, L'Oreal > Revlon imo.

I'm leaning towards L'Oreal moreso than Revlon. I have some L'Oreal OTL Powder that I use from time to time that I really like. I used to use L'oreal mascara before I switched to Maybelline. The only things that I own that are Revlon are nail polishes that I rarely ever use. (I got a bunch of OPI ones that I like much much better.) I have some eyeshadows too but I never use them. I'm too much of a MAC addict now.

Agreed. Revlon lipsticks even smell nasty, like old school waxy lipsticks... just gross.
I do use Loreal mascaras and their True Match face compact as my purse powder (too scared I'll break my Studio Fix, so it's a nice alternative)

Awww, Revlon l/s are getting a bad rap lol ... they changed their formula not too long ago to an unscented version (though their old version WAS horrible!)!

I think L'Oreal 'cause their mascaras are awesome, and their eyeshadows are a bit higher quality. Not that many colour choices, but at least they'll stay on a couple hours (more than I was expecting, honestly).

That's good to hear about the Revlon lipsticks... we had some of the older ones (the black packaging) in a clearance bin at my work, and I was suprised they still smelled like that, perhaps they were just really old. lol... I do recall using a different colored tube of one recently that was super moisturising and really nice (not smelly!) lol....

Before I started my obsession with MAC, Loreal was 99 % of my MU. I like there LE more so than anything. They had these pots of loose e/s a coulpe of years back that were amazing (I bought every color). There is still one lippie that I am lemming that was L/E , glistening apricot
I also have all but one of the new e/s from the HIP line as well as some l/g. The e/s do not have the pigmentation or staying power of MAC. As for Revlon, bleh...

Both make some good stuff but I prefer Revlon since they don't appear to do animal testing. I love their lipsticks and that many of their foundations now contain sunscreen. Before it was discontinued the Colorstay Natural foundation was a staple of mine and I ended up hoarding it.

revlon has some good stuff, but loreal does as well.
i love the skinlights line and as a quick gloss in a rush, the Super Lustrous l/g work alright. Also, i like their nailpolish & lip glide lipstick (before they FREAKING DISCONTINUED ALL THE VIBRANT COLORS) revlon has such a plain color palette.
loreal has some awesome stuff, but they lose points with animal testing. i really like their touch-on color blushes & the new shimmer type pots that are pretty similar to smashbox's lens light. endless liquid seems to stay put & offers a pretty nice palette as well as pigmentation. good eye makeup remover. i've heard loreal owns lancome (or vice versa) so a lot of their stuff is pretty similar to that of the other brand. i defintely see that with loreal eye MU remover & lancome bifacial.

I could never live without my Revlon eye liner. Best eyeliner. hands down. I also have there flat iron which seems to be a popular choice if you can't afford Chi or something rather. Their skinlights, however didn't win my approval...

I love Loreal bcos I find their products similar like Lancome...not all but some of them are like Lancome products...i love them!Of all the drugtore brand I find Loreal to be pretty decent!

l'oreal cashmere perfect foundation is one of the better drugstore foundations i've tried, and i'm not a fan of drugstore foundations. still, i discovered them on a BOGOF dealy, and it turned out pretty good, once i managed to find my skintone.

I have a few L'oreal e/s, one of which is my favourite highlight e/s, I dont think they are bad at all, but since finding that L'oreal test on animals I will not be renewing anything once it runs out...However I love, love, love Revlon LipGlides

I still love and use Revlon lipliners and nail polish, but I have to say that I really don't like anything else. In the last few years I have been using some of the L'Oreal products. I like their lipglosses, their LE eye shadows and the HIP eye shadows (I hate their eyeliners). If I have to choose........it's L'Oreal.
