Lucky Green

I think that Lucky Green has the potential to be another Parrot. I have called every counter and freestanding on Long Island and NYC and each one has told me that this color was sold out within a week. I just got two backups on Ebay because I can’t be without this color… EVER.

Just thought I would share….haha.

I kept thinking about reselling my backup, but decided to keep it.

Its a GORGEOUS color, personally I think its the best e/s they have put out all year, and to make it even more amazing, its a VP. Can't beat that!

doood.. this is the ONLY shadow since parrot that've bought 3 of.. it's SO frickin pretty!!! DEFINITELY one of the best MAC has put out this year! it's funny that u say that cos all of my lovely MA' s said the same thing about it having parrot frenzy potential!!

hehe I feel you dopesickgirl!! This is one of the only greens I actually wear, and get compliments on!! I never used to wear green much before lucky green..now its like a staple, and I cant remember if I have enough!!

eh its pretty and possibly one of the more unique colors mac has had in the past year or so, but im not a raving fan... ive had an NYX eyeshadow in the color Lime that looks IDENTICAL to it and i hardly ever reached for that one so when i got lucky green i knew the same would happen. which is why i dont need a back up hehe

there are some colors mac NEEDS to make that they have yet to come out with... like a frosty red or hell even ANY red... or a bright frosty magenta... a TRUE grass green.... etc etc... i hope to see those in the future

I REALLY THINK THAT LUCKY GREEN SHOULD BE A PERMANENT COLOR. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND BLENDS SO WELL WITH EVERY COLOR. IT ALSO LOOKS SO AMAZING ON YOU. I TRIED YOUR LOOK WITH LUCKY GREEN, BLUE PIGMENT AND VELLUM. IT WAS SO HOT!

I love Lucky Green, though for some reason I passed on it when Belle Azure was around, since I thought it looked too similar to Chartru paint...how stupid and naive I was back in my younger days I was fortunate enough to get it on here from a lovely lady! it is the most AWESOME bright green es ever.. I think Im in love...

I am in agreement with you on the need for red colors. YOU inspired me to haul my ass into NYC so I could hit the pro store for Brick Red and other pro shadows. You make them look so amazing.

I love it with Blue Pigment and seperately with Bright Fuschia Pigment.

I was just looking at my stash yesterday, and I forgot I owned an NYX shadow called Ocean. I applied it over Shimmermint shadestick, and it too looked IDENTICAL to Parott!!!

If anyone can get a hold of NYX shadows, I highly recomend them. They are super pigmented, and as mentioned are good replacements for LE MAC colors!!

At first I was totally skeptical about buying Lucky Green... Then i just decided "what the heck" and bought it...now im totally in love with it... i was really lucky that the MAC at Valleyfair just got a new shipment in...

See i went like last week one day and checked out colors but they didnt have it... i went with my bf to return an iPod accessory... but my dog just threw up my on bfs lap in the car... *Eww.. i know*
So i decided to quickly run in and return the ipod stuff... I quickly checked out MAC looked around the store and didnt see anything new or interesting and came out with coppering and orange (one of the MUA had an amazing blend of the two colors)...

the next day i went shopping at the same mall with my girlfriends and asked to take a peek at MAC [even if i had just gone the previous day] and discovered that they had gotten in a new shipment of the belle azure colors...

they had a row of Lucky green and i decided to purchase it...

I didnt try it out but i came home and began playing with it...

TOTALLY FELL IN LOVE!

Its one of my new fave colors!

I wish I hadn't dallied getting lucky green. I was on a no buy after D'Bohemia and resisted but had a major lemming for it. I finally caved and luckily found the last one left in the region. It is my perfect green. I wish I had a backup!

It was the only shadow I really wanted from BA. I love it so much! It seems to look great on just about every person which is nice, and I can totally see it turning into another Parrot!

This is my favorite green. I especially like the fact it's a vp so it's so soft and blendable. I really wish this wasn't limited edition, I guess I'll just have to stock up too.

It's still on display in Myer Melbourne so I assume they have it in stock here, if anyone happens to be looking for it. There are other items in Belle Azure no longer on display (and no Blitz & Glitz f/l for Rebelrock hmm).

I was at the Pro Store in Las Vegas this past weekend and they had Lucky Green... try giving them a call for a backup

When BA came out, I didn't purchase Lucky Green. When I read and heard all the great reviews about it, I knew I had to have it. Especially beacuse I love green e/s and don't know why I didn't get this when it came out! I went to my MAC counter a couple weeks ago and they only had one left! I feel pretty lucky to have it!
