Lush and Sparkly?

In the Garden is one of my favorite colors - so pretty and sparkly. (The sparkles didn't show up as well once I put the shadow on, though.) The Chamomile (highlight color) got weird on me today for some reason. It's a really pretty yellow sparkly color, but it shows up almost sickly green. And the Thank You I used on my lids - well, the color is kinda washed out once you put it on. Weird.

Anyway, I'm fairly pleased today, and I feel like my blending is getting better!

OMG Mien - you just, like, made my WEEK!!! LOL. I've been fighting so hard with blending, and I feel like I'm just now starting to get the hang of it (thanks to aeryss and her tips).

Me: No, I'm not... *smiling*
Him: *frowning* YES you are!
Me: *smiling more* No... I'm not. You just don't like it
Him: *frowning more* Look man, yes you are... You weren't yesterday. Today you look like a painted whore.
Me: No... I'm not.. You just don't like it. That's okay.
Him: Why you gotta get all offended and shit?

LMAO! I have to admit - the In the Garden is a bit more than I'd anticipated, but I still don't think it's "too much." Besides, like I'd value his uneducated opinion over everyone's here? HA!!!

Anyway, just thought I'd share since I'm obviously a painted whore.

Hahahahaha! This is hilarious & had me cracking up! No, you most certainly do not look like a "painted whore," and this is not too much at all! You look awesome! One of my brothers tries to play the same game with me since his girlfriend only wears powder, but I just love my makeup & he will never change my opinion on that! Anyway, great job, love it & each day your posts are getting more perfect!!

MACATTACK - Thanks so much! I thought it was funny, too, that he thought *I* was getting offended when, actually, *HE* was the one getting offended. LOL.

jdepp - Both, really. Sometimes I mix different shades together. Sometimes I layer different shades. And I usually use different shades on different parts of my face. I have rosacea, so I have red areas which need to be covered. I use Mint and Yellow concealers mixed on my red areas, and it makes it really whitish, so then I have to use a darker foundation to cover it (the Signature 7.0). I wish I could just buff a layer or two of foundation on and be done with it! Maybe one day.

Her tips were easy for me to incorporate because we use the same kind of camera. The really close-up shots are done using the MACRO function. Good luck!!
