Sometimes I get kinda nutty about the ad pics for the new promotions,.. If I see it an want to recreate whatever they had done,.. Well I e-mailed MAC about the Lustrelong ad for them to tell me one model was wearing Alta Moda and another wearing LoversLust,.. Well I got Alta Moda and tried it. Very dark, beautiful, but not the color on the model,... I tried LoversLust in the store,. pretty but cool pink and definitely not the color the model had on.. Sooooo,..yesterday while stroking Falling Star in the freestanding store and glaring evil-ly at the Lustrelong ad on the counter, it hit me,....The MA that e-mailed me told me the right colors but said that the models were each wearing them seperately,.. To get the lips in that ad: (all three are the same just different lighting)
Apply a sheer layer of Alta Moda and let it partially dry,.. then apply a sheer layer of LoversLust and quickly slide your lips together before it has time to set,.. that should mix the colors a bit, add the mirror gloss and you should have the color in the ad. It takes a bit of practice but after my third try it was coming out perfectly each time. Gotta be quick,.. once the LoversLust starts to set it won't work.
