Does the Holidays ever cut down your chances to splurge on MAC?

I'm asking this because I have a few gifts I'd like to hand out this year and damnit....I can't buy a thing from MAC. Not even the little darlings...

Oh well....

Nope; don't have that problem. But if there's any consolation, they'll all turn up at the CCOs and you can splurge then.

This is my third MAC holiday collection since I began using MAC in 2006 and both 2006 and 2007's total collections have appeared at my CCO. So that's why I don't rush out to buy the collections.

Only collections that have not appeared at the CCO nearest me is the Couture collection and store-exclusive collections. I have to buy them online.

If you look back at some of the old CCO threads, you'll see that the collections start turning up in the CCOs around January.

Very true, which is why I haven't purchased any.

I have seen the Stylistics collection @ my CCO a few weeks back. I am sure they do not get to all CCOs.

You're right about that! Only one of the Stylistics sheerspark pressed powders showed up at the Destin, FL CCO I go to. What I wanted back-ups of was the mystery pressed powder in Dark Secret.

Thanks to damsel, she hooked me up good with a cp for several of them! Yeah! Yeah!

And they still have 2007's holiday collections at the CCOs.

I am going to buy nothing MAC for myself because I have people to shop for. However, I am asking for MAC so it will even out!

I don't really have that problem since I don't buy much MAC anymore anyway. I buy some Christmas presents very early so I have more to spend around the holidays if I want to.
