I am a plucker. It's all I've ever done so I'm not sure what is the best way to go.

Threading?
Waxing?

Help! No matter how I try to shape them with products it's just not working as I really need to sort the underlying problem out.

So what's the best thing to do? I want that perfect arch and angle. Any advice??? Any good places in the UK to go to??

Seriously my customers must be shocked when they look at them! Help! Here are two pics from my eotds which I'm sure u guys have seen enough of but I thought they were a good indication of how my brows look!

Ugh I wish I could help but I hate my brows too. My hair is naturall curly so my brow hair curls and ... They will never look good. My only saving grace is a brow pencil.

I don't think your brows are bad at all....I would define them more on the top but overall I think they are nicely shaped and very full which is good.

Her eye base is wider than yours...but you could so get a very similar shape....Just take the picture in when you go to get them waxed or threaded. Her's is pure perfection I must admit

Ok.

I love brows and I am pretty good at doing them so here is what I would suggest:

1. You can still do them yourself. I do mine. I don't like the lack of control I have when I let someone else do them.

2. Clean up the hair growth above the brow. Don't go crazy. Just remove the hair that growing where it shouldn't be.

3. You are going to need to let them grow in a little so that you can reshape them. It's a pain in the ass but that's the only way you will get the shape you want.

4. It's all about filling them in. MzReyes made a great brow tutorial that shows you how to draw the shape you want and fill it in. It's how I learned to do my brows. Check it out:

Here is a pic of my finished brow. I use a pencil to create the shape and fill in where needed with a brow powder.

Here is a pic of what they look like naturally. Well, actually, I have plucked them but did not fill them in. Now, this pic is a little old and I have changed the shape a little since I took it but you get the idea.

I agree with everything she said EXCEPT: doing them yourself!! Aziajs is Excellent at doing her brows from her fotds...I think you should go have them waxed first (threading hurts me to bad but I hear it's better) then you can maintain the shape afterwards...I do not suggest you doing them the 1st time yourself...I did before I learned how and trimmed and plucked trying to achieve perfection until one brow was 2" long and the other was 1" long...and they take a minute to grow back after that kind of butchering

Heiaken: Thanks! I guess in my case I'm never satisfied and always looking to make things perfect! I'm happy with most of me, but i'd love those perfect angled brows!

Azajias: Thanks for that link! I had a look! I think the reason I can't do it myself is 1-i cna't get the shape right at the begining of the brow-that hard sharp angled look is what I'm after and 2- i have yet to find a brow filler that is light enough. When I put anything on my brows like mystery, omega, fling, lingering, I literally feel like Sylar from Heroes! I want lighter brows without having to die them too! Yikes. Complicated! I will have a go at reshaping them, take a picture and maybe someone can tell me where I'm going wrong...

I know there are bigger problems in the world than my brows lol.
I just saw that girls brows and was like

Tish: I must admit I'm a bit nervous to do them myself! I have had disastors before! lol. I don't want to end up with a constant look of surprise:

Okay...

Maybe you should take a white pencil and draw the shape you are looking for on your brows. Play around with it until you get exactly what you are looking for. Thankfully it comes off so nothing is permanent. Once you like it fill it in with pencil and/or powder.

I played around with 3 or 4 pencils before I found one I liked. I think it's trial and error.

As for lighter brows, I don't know how you could get them lighter without dying them. I wish I could help more.
