Is there anything I can use to make the purple look lighter and more purple than greyish? I have never used paints, but someone suggested Mauvism. What will this do under Beau?TIA!

I think the fact that the base has the same color in it as the purple gives the purple pigments in the e/s-color more intensity...(Well I should try that with Canton Candy and Paradisco...)

Welcome to MAC paints AND Specktra then jencurl!

Using a paint under any shadow will help brighten or darken (depending on what your after) AND intensify the color. The added bonus is they won't budge a bit through the day!

You all are probably much more talented w/makeup than me. Currently I run from colors like yellow..even though I've seen some pics of other people who look great in bolder colors! Guess I need to get away from browns, etc and experiment!!
