mac brow shader

Hey everyone! It's been a mega long time!!!! I've been busy working full time for my co-op. I'm going to post some eotd and fotd very sooooon! I do makeup everyday but just don't take pics! What a loooseerr~

anyways! Has anyone had experience with the mac brow shader? I have spiked brow pencil but I like the look of my brows when I fill them in with shadow afterwards. I'm nw 20 with brown hair...well half brown half white! ha! So I don't want anything tooo dark. I've tried bateau(dark) mystery (dark) and now I am working on brun...its ok but I still think its a smidge too dark.

I saw these brow shaders...any thoughts? I'm thinking walnut/ivoire...

but I mainly want to know if they are worth it!

I personally love the Brow Shader duos, but that may be because the Browning/Porcelaine duo is the perfect shade for me. I am NC25 with medium/dark brown hair. I do my brows slightly lighter than my hair though. I rarely use the highlighting side though, which is why many people think these things are a waste as they really seem to be the same as a reg eyeshadow. But as I said, Browning is my perfect shade so I've stuck with it.

I'd go to your store or counter & have them try a couple of the shades on you & see if you have a good match.

I agree!

U may like Omega, Saddle or Soft Brown to fill them in.Their matte brown shadows close to the Walnut shade.Unless u'll use the highlighter ur prob better off finding a good shadow to fill them!

Iam nw20-nw25 with blonde hair and I use Soft charcoal/maple. I do not use the highlight side because I cant see it when its on lol, so maybe when that is done I will get a regular shadow.

i use spiked brow pencil and porcelein/browning brow shader. i like it better than shadow cause its a bit creamier (but not creamy), so it applies/blends/stays better for the brows than regular shadow does. i'd suggest you check it. i think you'll like it better than shadow.

I have spiked pencil and also the shader combo. I cannot seem to make the pencil work for me. Maybe my hand is too heavy, I always come out looking like Graucho Marx.

But the brow shader works for me. I use the highligher too. I like it better or alteast until someone shows me how to use my pencil properly.
