MAC brush sadness

I was just about to win a bid for a #180 for 40 aud and I got sniped at the very last minute and what would have been my winning bid didn't go through. Man, I'm actually p*ssed.

40 aud for a #180 is about half price. Don't often get the chance. So angry! How silly of me.

I'm sorry. Really, I am. That happens to me all the time. I could be watching an auction all day and then someone will come in at the last minute and steal it from me. It is so frustrating. It just happened a couple days ago.

I'm a sniper (no, that wasn't me. I have that brush already). You should try it. I open 2 windows - one with the auction (which I keep refressing) and one with my bid (the highest I would be willing to pay, and an odd number - 46.03 rather than 45.00) waiting to be confirmed. When the first window hits 20 seconds, off I send my bid. If I don't win it, I don't feel bad because I put my highest bid in and wouldn't pay more than that.

That said, I know I am a bitch...

That sounds kick-arse! The thing is, usually our internet connection is so fast that it refreshes in 30 seconds, but it just didn't cut it this time. That is an awfully good idea...I don't think I'd snipe someone else as such, but just use it on items where I was the highest bidder to begin with.
