MAC brush storage

Hi,

Ive recently spent a large sum of money on MAC brushes and at the moment I feel guilty as I just chuck them in at the bottom of my traincase! I was just interested in how you ladies store your brushes. My friend suggested something like the Jemma Kidd makeup bag at boots.com. Do you reckon it will hold the 150, 168 brushes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I store mine in a square glass vase from Ikea. it was only 1.90 or something. Pitty i dont have enough brushes to fill it though hehe. but that one u showed looks good

i used to store mine in these snoopy glass jars lol but ever since my bro bought me the brush clutch they all go in there, its perfect to store them and i feel like a make-up artist in the mornings when i just roll it all out hahah, must i add the clutch is so gorgeous i could take this out!

Mine are in pretty glass tealight glasses.
Brushes in two, pencils, and mascara in others.

I want a brush clutch for Christmas. Incidentally does anyone have the japonesque one, and how does it compare to the MAC brush?

I use my Brush Clutch to store my brushes in and find it great. I have about 30 brushes in there (not all MAC) and there is still room for plenty more

My 150 brush gets a bit squashed in there though, and goes slightly flat.

thanks girls. I think that little case I posted earlier doesnt look as if it will hold much so I'll give it a miss.

IIRC that is one of the tailormade bags, which were designed to hold a mini brush set.

My mac brushes are in the Brush clutch *mac's). The rest is also in clutches or brushcases

I want a brush clutch so bad. I just keep mine in the case that came with the holiday brush sets.

Its gorgeous isnt it! They come in a range of shades as well. Must stop talking about it or I'll do something stupid like raid my account!

someone on here showed how they store theirs in like pyrex beakers like chemistry lab ones like they have em in mac! that looks kool im guna get some!

and a leather box for my bigger/shorter brushes like kabuki's and bronzer brushes.

I have decided to start sewing my own brush rolls. I found a diy tut online and I have a ton of cool fabric and I can even customized the holes. If you can sew a straight line you can do it! I will post pics and a tut in the tut section after I do one. a simply peice to string or ribbon is all you will need to tie it closed!

I bought this at www.hometrainingtools.com: It's great and can easily hold 13-15 full size brushes...hope that helps.
