i'm sure there're better if not just as good brushes that cost lesser. must it be a MAC? i don't own a single MAC brush now and i don't miss any :p

it doesnt really matter what brush it is as long as it works well. i dont want to buy a cheap brush and find that it doesnt work as good as the 190 brush? what other brushes would you recomend? that isnt mac? thanks

i see. to be fair, i've never tried MAC's foundation brush. i've used the Body Shop's and i never got the hang of it (or it's not a good brush?).

found many good reviews but saw a girl mentioned on MakeupAlley that the foundation brush by Quo at 12.99 was just as good, so she returned #190.

the only brush i have from MAC is the 187 brush and i use the 187 for my fndn and powder. 99% of all the mU i own is MAC, but i cant say the same for my brushes. I think it depends on the indavidual if they want to inveset in MAC brushes or not. Just remeber Just b/c it isnt MAC doent make the brush less worthy of its job. All the brushes i use for my Blush and e/s come from CVS and IMO i get great result with the application. But if u prefer MAC Brushes there are a lot of members here than can guide u in the right direction on which ones they've had good experiences with.

i don't think they are any more expensive then other high end brand's brushes. in fact, they are less then some other brands. i never spent money on brushes, but now, i can't live w/o them! and the MAC brushes are totally worth it. they make application so much easier!

agree with hyperealgurl. what constitutes a good brush, though? its very individual, at least to me. i don't get the hype over many more-costly brushes, e.g. shu's (but i feel bb's and stila's are really quite good). i guess, like m/u, each brand can't claim its whole range is good.

I love my mac brushes but the 190 is one that I'm not so fond of. I like it but I mainly use it for applying my matte. I tend to use the 187 (skunk brush!) for my foundations and powders and I sometimes use a 150 for powders. I even use my 187 for blush cremes!!! I works a treat so I'd go for a 187 over a 190 if I had to choose!!!

i actually dont think their expensive
all their eyeshadow brushes average out to be around £15 and you can get own boots brand for like £7 which pretty much speaks for itself

they're expensive but worthy every penny, best to invest in a few at a time so it doesnt look like ur spending millions!
