I mean to say this with the best intentions, but Specktra itself could easily be to blame, too. We're posting on an internet forum for everyone to see, not just members of the site. We give each other the information to help one another out, but for every set of eyes that belongs to a member, there's oodles of other people reading the threads. I was looking on Instagram last night and many were posting that the collection was available and that they found out from Specktra. This also cues other eyes, maybe ebay buyers, too. The internet is a great thing and full of information, at the same time that information reaches unlimited number of people. The biggest issue is that MAC accounts are only tied to an e-mail address, rather than a residential address. With places like gmail, yahoo, hotmail, you can create limitless accounts for any number of reasons. It's simply difficult and damn near impossible to traffic all different accounts and put an end to how many orders are placed (and I'm talking from the non-PRO section. PRO at least is tied to loyalties and membership, whereas a regular MAC account is just basic). Even if 10 accounts on MAC belong to one person, their system recognizes all 10 accounts as separate customers. There's the ebay loophole, which shouldn't really be MAC's fault at all, but rather the servers they're using for account information. Joe Schmoe could have 10 separate accounts and credit cards, and MAC would have no idea, it's not until Joe Schmoe places more than one order on the same account, using the same credit card, that it's flagged as being against MAC's online purchase policies.
