Not sure if there's anyone else here this might be interesting for but anyway...
Went by the counter yesterday and found a lot of the shelves empty. The sales assistant told me the MAC counter in the Loeb department store is closing!
So I called Estee Lauders headquarters in Zurich just now and the lady responsible for MAC told me they are currently looking for a new location. Probably the counter will stay closed for at least several months, like 3 months she said.
They are trying to establish a new location in Bern, but temporarily it will be unavailable here, any ladies in and around Bern looking for MAC will have to either head to another location in another city, or she said that some of the department stores like Globus and Jelmoli might do mail order via credit card, for a premium charge.
I'm pissed off, no MAC for me for a while! And all these new collections coming out.
Guess I'll have to head to Zurich, I really want some of that N stuff!
Oh, and she also said on the phone that the Loeb store in Bern is being re-vamped, the bottom cosmetics part is turning into a Marionnaud Parfumerie store.
