I'm just now discovering these CCBs and wanted to know the uses for them. I use Shell for a highlighter and Virgin Isle for a blush, but there have to be more ways to use these. I ask because I've seen other colors I like. Can anybody help?

Depending on the color, you could use it on your lips. Some people even use them as bases for their eye shadows, but depending on your skin they may crease...they did on me.

I know some of them can be used on your lips, cheeks, and eyes so you have to check which ones can. I've used them as eyeshadows and highlighters. I love Fawntastic all over my eyelid. Pearl is a very pretty color that I've used underneath as a base for other eyeshadows to make the eyeshadow colors look especially pretty IMO.
The one problem I have with them is that they crease on me like crazy if I don't use a primer underneath them.

I use Hush as a base on my lids and as a highlighter on my cheekbones

and Virgin Isle as blush and on my lips with Lychee Luxe l/g on top (hot hottt!)

aaand I know alot of people use Bronze as a bronzer but I've only used it as e/s n it creased like crazy!! which is weird cuz nothing ever creases on me even without a base.. but its a pretty color and I'd give it another try as an e/s with a primer next time =]

I like Luna because it's white and really makes eyeshadow colors pop.
I use Hush on my eyes and cheeks.
I use Slick under my blue and green eyeshadows and it looks great.
Lately I've gotten Ooh and Plumed Violet, both are discontinued purples.
I literally just got Bronze a couple of weeks ago and haven't really used it.
It's a pity they are being discontinued on mac's regular site. If you know how to use them they work great.

I used IMPROPER COPPER as an eyeshadow base after my beautiful MAC buddy, suggested it. But it is true, if you are workin with bright colors like yellows and aquas, a white base like LUNA really makes it the e/s pop. Im not a fan of bases that have shimmer. I like the base to be white and flat.
For a while, I used BRONZER CCB under my bronzer as like a base and it worked pretty nice.

I love the CCB...I use Root all the time. It's a great shadow and a great base to put color on top. Like the others, I like luna & pearl

Antiqued Gold is really, really pretty too...it sold out so quickly when it was first launched

They are multi purpose products that can be used for anything you want basically, eyes, lips, cheeks....You can use them underneath as well and put blush, lipstick or eyeshadow on top.

I have Bronze but I rarely use it.

I use the shell CCB. It is pretty good. I want to try some more. If they are being discontinued, then ill check out the CCO for them.

Also, CCB Luna was used as a gorgeous highlighter very lightly around eyes & high on cheekbones by the MAC artist in the Spring fashion show

Luna is great for an e/s base, it makes colors so vibrant, I use it under any blue or green looks that I do.
It can also be used as a highlight under your brow bone.

I like using Hush CCB as a cheek or eye highlighter, or I even just apply it lightly all over my face for a really glowy look. They're great, I love them so much! I really like that you can keep them sheer or build them up, depending on what you're going for.

I don't know why I didn't notice these before! I am going to try one, I tried paintpots before and found them to be too dry for me.

Would you say that you could use the Pearl CCB alone or do you still need UDPP? Also am I doing something wrong when I try a paint pot and it's got a layer on top that is very hard to work with ?

I am using Fawntastic at the moment... I admit, I picked it up after I found out that it was used at the L.A.M.B. fashion show -- it is 'in Gwen's bag' in Marie Claire magazine along with Russian Red l/s...

Fawntastic is great as an eyeshadow base (gives a nice nude with sheen), and can also be used on the face as a highlighter. Just don't use it on the lips. It's one of those colors in the CCBs that isn't lip friendly. HTH!

CCBs usually crease without a base of some sort. I have yet to try these over paint pots, but did you let the paint dry before applying the ccb?
