Good luck! This year's palettes are truly gorgeous (I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, having already ardently expressed my love for them in the Trip Collection thread). However, be careful not to accidentally buy the old Trip palettes, cause the were mostly a compilation of the least interesting, chalkiest eyeshadows MAC has ever come up with (yes, Cool eyes palette, I'm looking at you!)
Back to topic. I have to say that my biggest surprise was the Dazzle lash mascara (in Europe it was intoduced for the first time with the DD collection). Since mascaras are not really known to be MAC's forte, my expectations were set quite low on this one. But the second I put it on, It became my HG
. And I've never given that title to a mascara, not ever (and belive me, I've tried loads). My lashes are very dark and fairly dense, but with almost no natural curl and of medium length. Volume is therefore not my priority, I'm after definition, separation and a lifting/curling effect. Most mascaras just clumped my lashes (diminishing the natural volume) and lowered them (probably because they were to 'wet' & 'heavy') almost to the point of obscuring my view
. Lucky for me, Dazzle lash delivers by beautifully separating the lashes and nicely lifting them up (though I wouldn't go as far as saying that it has the same effect as an eyelash curler). The wand is so small and precise that it captures even the tiniest of lashes. God... Gotta stop. I'm starting to sound like and infomercial
. So, if you find yourself in my description, I'd highly recommend giving it a go.
