MAC employees: eyes?!

To me, this old thread was one of the best I've ever read on Specktra; I learned so much about how MAC employees apply their fabulous lips.

I adore the hot eye makeup I see on MAs and I am hoping that someone will share some similar secrets and tips. I'd love to know what goes into selecting combinations, priming, shading techniques, brush choices, and lashes.

I know there are a million threads about applying eye makeup but I'd really love to get tips about MAC secrets and standards.

i hope this helps...

for staying power especially if you are oily i sugges the following....

urban decay primer potion first, and then a mac pain in you apropriate color....

if your are dry....(and i mean really dry)
i suggest you use a mac cream color base or just a paint pot

1-i like to start by first carving out my crease with a neutral tone color (soft brown, malt, kid, texture)

2-i like to next place my lid color on it can be wathever you want

3-after that i like to follow my neutral tone color (the one i carved my crease out with) with a color that compliments or makes my lid color more intense for example...

----if i used kid in my crease and ellecrtic eel on my lid and want to be very dramatic i would put carbon thrue my crease (my crease is already there with the neutral tone i am just going over it this way its much easier to blend)

3-i like to add my higlight last first with a mac 166 angled brush just to get really close to the brows and then blend it down with a mac 242

well thats about it i hope this helps someone..... i know the brushes are expensive but with the exception of the browbone hightlight if you do your makeup in order from light to dark you will use less bruhes and provoble blend better

take care!
