I'd just like to know the price of MAC's empty pigment jars that they sell at the pro stores? TIA!

Stupid question but why do they sell empty pigment jars? I can understand selling the small sample jars so you can put a little pigment into each but i assume you mean the full size jars?

The probably have them if people want to mix pigments or something. I personally want them because my friend and I are going to buy a few pigments each, and then trade half of them.

Yup, I get to split pigments with other people and I use them so I don't have a whole pigment in one jar. So let's say you drop a jar well that's ok because you have another jar 1/2 full

I also use them when I find a good pigment combo I like. For instance Naval Blue and Violet mixed look great!

I do that with my sis and SIL we buy full size jars and then extra empty jars and split the bill (it's good cause my SIL gets her PPID discount so I get 1/2 pigment jar for cheap!)

Yep..thats what me and a friend do...and we are usually on the hunt for empties..so getting them at the pro store is ideal. But its great..who can really go through a full pigment bottle..lmao...we are still using whats on the lid from ours..lol

Would it work well for that purpose?

I'm sure they would work great so long as they're tightly sealed, and you have something to extract the foundation.

I thought they were $2 based on other posts, but when I called a week or two ago, the pro store told me they were $2.50.

You can buy empty jars elsewhere for a lot less, although they won't look the same. Ones like this are close though and would easily fit half a jar.

Wow, they must have raised the price over the past few weeks. Figures.

That is a nice site. Thanks for posting it.
